Petra Zimmermann-Schwier is a partner of Pape & Co. She is also the general manager of our auditing company, the Pape & Co. GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft. As an experienced German Certified Public Accountant and Certified Tax Consultant she is a business orientated confidante of her clients and leads assigned projects teams.
Mrs. Zimmermann-Schwier specializes in the auditing of financial statements and supporting her clients in the areas of accounting, controlling and internal auditing. In this context she advises on converting to international accounting standards and renders due diligence and company valuation services. Further areas of specialisation include executive remuneration and company pension plans. Also, with her responsibility for quality control within the profession, she inspects other auditors and auditory companies under the of the federal auditory regulator.
Frau Zimmermann-Schwier studied Economics at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum and the University of Cologne, supplementing her studies with extended stays in the USA, France and Russia. She began her professional career in 1992 at an international company of auditors and tax consultants, where she initially provided consulting services for clients of medium-sized companies before moving to the auditing department. She joined Pape & Co. in 2003.
Petra Zimmermann-Schwier is married and has three children. She lives near to the Alps and likes to go hiking with her family. She loves books, classical music and jazz, and plays the flute and the piano.
